Here is my little contribution to the blog hop:

I have used stamps from the following two sets:

You can find both available in the store here.

To create these tags I cut a tag shape from my Silhouette Cameo on watercolour paper which I picked up from my local reject shop.
I think it's important to use the watercolour paper because it has the ability to take on a lot more water than normal card stock.
Once they were cut I inked and gold embossed different Christmas designs.
My personal favourite is the "Christmas is a time for Giving". This one is perfect for a gift tag!

Next I used a brush to 'wet' the whole tag lightly. This helps to allow the colours to flow and blend.
I used several different colours on each tag and started darker at the bottom and 'pulled' the colour up to create an ombre effect.

I left these to dry completely before sewing around the edges and finishing with twine!

I hope you enjoyed my little post & can't wait to see what you create.
