Sorry this is so late!!

Today we have some christmas card inspiration

these were a challenge this weekend over at Little scrapbook shop, it is still on...go check it out!

this first card i had some fun with
to make cut a piece of cardstock in colour of your choice to the size of the card. stamp with a background this case i have used a diamond pattern from stampin up.
cover a chipboard swirl in patterned paper, sand and then ink the edges.
Add some flower accents to the bottom left corner and accent then with BLING!
add your frame in the top right corner with a saying
and your done!!

this is a pretty simple card.
Cut patterned paper to the size of the card...add another strip of coordinating paper with one torn edge, add a brad to the edge and a holiday verse!

This card was FUN!
I used a snowflake cuttlebug embossing folder and embossed ACETATE. I then brushed over the edges and the design with a powder blue tim holtz paint dabber.
tear a piece of cardstock. ink or paint edges, stamp title on to it and add a scalloped edge

add your holiday this case i have used a dove and accented it with bling!

Another quick and fun card
for this one cut a strip of cardstock for the middle of the card, stick.
cut a tall triangle tree shape from a christmas patterned paper and cut a small trunk from another one...mount on chipboard, and sand...wrap ribbon around the tree and stick down...
add a saying ( in this case i have used a dymo labeller )

For this one first of all round all the edges of your card...cut a piece of cardstock to fit...round it's edges..and then tear a strip of paper. ink! cut a tiny strip of paper and a ribbon buckle and stick it to the edge of your torn piece. add a holiday verse. done!

For this one
cut a piece of cardstock for your card...grab some ribbon, fabric or tulle and sew down with a button and stick the rest behind the cardstock piece. add a holiday saying and doodle!
stick to card

For this one
cut a strip of paper and edge with some scallops in a coordination colour. doodle them!
cut three circles...embellish the centre one. stick!
add two eyelets the side and embellish with ribbon

Cut a piece of cardstock to fit and then tear a coordinating one to accent the bottom. stick down!!
stamp two tree shapes..decorate and stick down
add a holiday verse

For this one
Paint the background with a paint to match your theme...add a swipe of a feature colour...add your accent and your verse

For this one cut a strip of cardstock. stick! scallop doodle around the edges! tear an accent piece of PP and add a BIG holiday verse which is matted and inked! add some accents in the corner

I hope you enjoyed that little display of cards...and it inspires you to make your last minute cards!!

here is another card I made for fun...using the colours I love so much!
am off to work on something for tomorrow's post.
